It is my honor and privilege to be the new president of SACC-Philadelphia.
With this letter, I would like to introduce myself and outline my goals.
But first, I wish to thank Bengt Nestell for his past leadership as
President of SACC-Philadelphia. In 2011, Bengt will continue to serve our Chamber as Vice Chairman of the
Board.

Joining SACC-Philadelphia was a natural fit for me because of my Scandinavian heritage and desire to connect with people in the Scandinavian business community. My paternal grandfather was born in Sweden and
immigrated to America in the early 1900s. My mother’s family came to America from Norway in the early
20th Century. As an active member of SACC-Philadelphia, I have served on our board and Activities Committee, and have also played an active role with member recruitment and relationship management.
The Philadelphia area has been my home for most of my life. I grew up in the Philadelphia Suburbs in Ambler. After graduating
