Hard pruning is the best way to

remove dead limbs from the plant

to allow for healthy growth. Shrubs

are pruned to six to twelve inches

above ground and although not all plants can tolerate this technique, this allows "leader" limbs to support new growth. By pruning shrubs using this technique, the shrub can grow healthier blooms faster during spring months.

During this time of year, our crews will be pruning Lantana and Bougainvillea.
