Becky Pickrel with Pickrel Art & Photography is a self-taught photographer who describes herself as
being very visceral (which according to Webster simply means moved by deep inward feelings rather
than intellect). Becky’s goal in any photo she takes is to find an emotional connection regardless of the
subject. Whether it’s a mountain vista, a cowboy moving a herd of cattle or a couple celebrating their
engagement, her desire is for that same emotion to translate over from camera to viewer. While Becky
enjoys nature and street photography, it’s families, seniors, engagement sessions and stylized model
shoots that have her primary focus.
