“Tara does more than capture moments. She sees that telling look
the groom gives the bride, the way her sister focuses on getting her
hair just right, and the glee on the face of the groom’s mother as they
dance. She wraps them up in perfectly composed memories to forever
treasure and transports us back to the feeling of that instant. I get
emotional every time I go back through the photos of that day. I
almost never noticed her while she was shooting, but looking at the
photos it was clear she was not just there, she was absorbing it all,
recognizing the important little details, and recording each of them
for us.” – Casey
Jared Rogerson, an up-and-coming Wyoming country
singer, provided hours of entertainment for the couple’s
guests. “If you haven’t heard of Jared Rogerson, you
should,” Casey said. “He was a huge hit with our guests! I
loved watching my NYC friends learn to swing from Lonnie’s Montana friends! Jared did an outstanding job, even
doing a cover of our song better than the original.”
For Lonnie and Casey, their August 3, 2013 wedding was
a mixture of their unique and blended passions, their heri-
tage, and personality as a couple. They were able to find
incredible public land that suited their unique ceremony; a
reception site with a true Wyoming flavor that was moldable to their personality; and incredible talent that blessed
their day. “Aren’t we lucky in Wyoming?!” Casey added.
With their family, special friends and guests, they created a
day that began their life together in a way unique to them.
One can only imagine how this couple will continue to
weave their passions into their journey together.
