I want to make you my one and only Queen And be with you until my last day has been seen Together we will be as happy as can be Amber Hope Smith. . . . “As I got to the end of the poem he was shaking and asked me to marry him,” Amber says. “For a good 30 seconds I kind of just stared at him and the ring because I couldn’t 40 Wyoming Weddings comprehend what had just happened. He started to get nervous and asked me if I was to say anything – or say no. I started laughing and said yes!” Their Star Valley Ranch Barn wedding, held June 6, 2015, was a dream come true, despite a few snags that the couple took in stride. “Everyone says this, but don’t stress, it really isn’t worth it,” Amber advises brides-to-be. “No matter how well you plan something is going to go wrong; but it is still going to be perfect and wonderful because at the end of the day you still married the person of your choosing.” Despite a mix up with the officiant and a rather squeaky microphone, the day went beautifully, and propelled the couple into a future as husband and wife. Currently the couple lives in the beautiful Star Valley, where Ryan works for the Pepsi distributing company, and Amber is the accountant for the Star Valley Ranch Association.
