fter five and a half years
together, Brodie proposed to
his high school sweetheart,
Anna, using Wyoming’s beautiful
outdoors as a backdrop. “He proposed
in our favorite hiking spot up in the
Snowy Range,” Anna says. “He had
put roses and pictures of us (with love
notes on the back) throughout the
entire trail. When we got to the top
of Libby Falls he proposed!” He had
every detail planned, including how
to document the day. “To my surprise,
he had his two best friends hiding as
secret photographers!” Anna adds. “It
was a complete surprise.”
The couple were married July 1,
2017 at Wyoming Hereford Ranch.
With the help of Carol Thomas
of A-One Weddings & Events in
Cheyenne, the couple created a day
filled with family, sentimental touches
and a bold color palette.
“Anna and Brodie are the type

of clients that I absolutely adore
because the love they share just

Carol says. “In order to bring this
vision to life, Brodie built a pallet

dance floor, and A-One Weddings
& Events created a chandelier of
fabric and sparkling lights!” Many
of the rustic details handmade by
Brodie became charming accents for
the couple’s home. “They will be a
cherished reminder of this joyous
days!” Carol adds.
Anna’s grandmother, a florist,
created stunning flower arrangements
for the big day with the assistance
of family members. “She has been a
florist all her life and everything she
creates is so gorgeous,” Anna says.
“I am beyond thankful she was able
to make them for my wedding!”
Carol adds, “This brought an added
personalization and sentimental value
to the flowers.”
Anna’s sister helped her prepare
for her wedding day. “My sister has
done my hair ever since I was a little
girl,” she says. “She did it for all the
