Welcome to the 9th ( wow !) edition of Wyoming Weddings – we ’ re so excited to help you plan your Perfect Day ! Being married in Wyoming comes with its set of blessings and challenges . Our wide open skies create perfect backdrops for both big days and big pictures , however we have to work with challenging terrain , prairie thunder storms , and sometimes more limited options on resources . All it takes is a little patience and determination . We ’ re here to help ! If you have questions on resources or need some ideas , email , message our Facebook page or give us a call . It ’ s free and we ’ re happy to give you some suggestions !
Remember to jump on those vendors that only service one wedding a day – venues , photographers , videographers , perhaps even caterers and cake artisans and florists . Book those items right away so that your date is saved and secured . Believe me , you ’ ll be glad that you did ! When we planned our wedding we booked the facility of our dreams two years early . ( Not a requirement and often a time luxury many don ’ t have .) When the day approached , I was working in a Laramie flower shop – and was told a story by a bride of some horrible bride who had her same date , and was booking all her favorite location , photographer , etc . … which she then listed who those vendors were – and I realized , it was ME ! Imagine her face when I stuck out my hand and told her , “ Well , nice to meet you … I ’ m that bride .” Ha ha ! It ’ s never personal , but it is important to book what you want if you have your heart set on something . After those things are squared away , start to work on your wedding dress , colors and all the fun details !
