A Rustic Ranch Wedding IN THE BIG HORNS
We sat down with Anne Brande of Ludwig Photography , a fourth generation Wyoming studio in its 112th year , to hear Kaitlyn & Weston ’ s charming story .
Kaitlyn is a warm , animal loving Rawlins girl at heart , Weston a Gillette ranch boy . It isn ’ t any wonder that they fell in love while attending Northwest Community College in Powell . The couple lived in the same dorm and kept running into one another . They started dating around Halloween their second year of school . When not studying Kaitlyn and Weston felt happiest fishing , bow hunting , and horseback riding .
After graduation it was time to move to Laramie . Kaitlyn began her career as a veterinary assistant and Weston enrolled at UW in economics . There was no question in Weston ’ s mind how to propose . It would be at his family ’ s Horse Creek Ranch just outside of Gillette . Family is important to them both so Weston planned it around cattle vaccination time – that way Kaitlyn wouldn ’ t become
