dr iz in zl g m izz ling Engage Youth Circus, one of our performance partners this year, are based in Artspace, a community arts organisation in Cinderford, Gloucestershire. The Youth Circus originally began as a pilot project in 2000 and has gone from strength to strength. Today they run circus training groups for young people aged 5+ through to adult and family groups, as well as many specialist training sessions. The Seniors Performance group can regularly be seen both locally and regionally providing entertainment varying from full scale performance productions in theatres to festivals, street shows, fates and fairs. www.engagecircus.org.uk Hereford River Carnival and Carnival Arts are important partners in the biennial Wye Valley River Festival. They deliver the Hereford River Carnival every year bringing water processions, raft racing, fun and activities into the heart of the city. www.rivercarnival.org Articulture is a creative organisation that aims to bring together practitioners to support the production of innovative, high quality outdoor arts unique to Wales. www.articulture.org Commissions Dripping Tap Theatre Company – ‘Webster & Jones: A pocket guide to Wales’ This piece follows two intrepid Victorian explorers on their quest of discovery towards their ultimate goal: the summit of Mount “Snowed On”. Run Ragged – ‘BAAH’ An urban shepherd(ess) and dog search for their flock of sheep. Eventually all are reunited and a dance unfolds. Four performers blend walkabout, improvisation and choreography. Chloe Loftus Dance – ‘Act of Strangers’ An encounter on a bench that inspires communication, connection and engagement.
