Attitude can’t fix everything, but it sure can make a difference. Most of us have experienced ups and downs in this thing we call life. Sometimes it is hard to believe that the carrot you are chasing can actually be caught. Let’s talk about positive attitude directly related to writing. Many of you read our wonderful, helpful articles by Fred Rayworth. He always calls it like it is and his advice is spot on. Fred is a science fiction writer and although he received hundreds rejections on the path to publication, he never gave up. He always believed that his book, Treasure of the Unbrunna, would be published someday. It was released on November 12, 2015 by Mystic Publishers. BUY REVIEWS GREATLY APPRECIATED Back when I was in sales, many years ago, I always wrote goals at the beginning of a year and then worked into them. It gave me a mindset and I’m happy to say I achieved most of them. It works. You literally program yourself for success. In that last year of working with design-related sales (furniture manufactured in Federal Prisons—see my book Ripoff,) I met and exceeded my sales quota by booking $8,000,000 of business. Not too shabby. Let’s all tell ourselves it’s going to be a wonderful year and make that dream come true.
