“Sorry to bother you.” Sergeant Jim Johnson smiled at Julie when she opened the
door. “I don’t live far so thought I’d return this.” The silver heart nestled in his hand and
sparkled in the spring sunshine. “Nobody came to claim it, you see.”
Julie took the silver heart feeling the warmth of his skin against her fingers. She
looked up at him and remembering her wish said, “Fancy a cup of tea?” WA
