D uffy’s Sports Grill football season is under way with their all new chefdriven dishes, guaranteed to have guests cheering for more than just their favorite team. Open-Faced Meatball Sliders - Duffy’s homemade meatballs with a blend of ground Certified Angus Beef® and Heritage Farms Cheshire Pork®, simmered in marinara sauce and served on slices of toasted baguette with Parmesan cheese. Frita Sliders – Mini Frita Burgers made with a proprietary blend of ground Certified Angus Beef and Heritage Farms Cheshire Pork served on tostones with house made ketchup and fresh guacamole. Honey Chipotle Glazed Wings – 10 wings tossed in Duffy’s signature sweet and smoky honey chipotle sauce and garnished with giardiniera – a medley of fresh vegetables, pickled in-house. The new Football Features Menu will also showcase Duffy’s new Bloody Mary lineup. The All-American Bloody Mary featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, a savory blend of spices and tomato juice topped with a bacon cheeseburger slider. The Jäger Mary the Brat features all the traditional elements of a Bloody Mary, but is made with Jägermeister instead of vodka and it’s topped with a beer-infused bratwurst. These new handcrafted cocktails pair perfectly with weekend football, or anytime you crave a savory cocktail that comes with a snack. Duffy’s has added even more excitement this season with their MVP “Big Game” Giveaway. The Children’s Gala takes place on December 11th and the Community Days are December 3rd - 10th AND December 12th - 14th. The Festival of Trees at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens is one of the holiday season’s premier events for adults and children. Presented by Sentient Jet, this year’s theme, Celebrating Design through the Decades, will illuminate the importance of design throughout history and the great context it brings for the culture and temperament of the times. The two acres of ANSG are transformed into a winter wonderland featuring more than 25 professionally decorated trees sponsored by area patrons and businesses. Each evening, visitors enjoy choral, instrumental, dancing and theatrical performances offered by more than 20 local school and community groups. A dazzling light and music show illuminates two of Ann Norton’s monumental sculptures as it reflects into one of several ANSG ponds.
