THE VIRTUAL CHOIR SONG VIDEO - HOW ? | Grant Norsworthy
2020 has been a really tough year – and that ’ s what ’ s so great about it ! Our circumstances have forced us to find creative and innovative ways to do things - to get the job done despite previously inconceivable challenges .
In particular , I have loved the way that many singers , instrumentalists and technicians of the Christian faith have formed virtual choirs - taking the act of congregational singing to new platforms , a global reach and connecting with countless viewers from both within and outside the Christian Church .
Most of my 2020 articles for WMM have been about “ The Blessing ” virtual choir phenomenon
and my role in producing and coordinating my home country of New Zealand ’ s contribution to the global choir . It ’ s a joy and a privilege to be included in the global choir singing these powerful words of God ’ s blessing !
Last month ’ s article answered these questions : What is a virtual choir ? Why are people of the Christian Church making virtual choir videos ? Who should get involved in making a virtual choir song video ?
For this month ’ s article , it was time to dig into the big question of how . But rather than write another article , I decided to make a “ how to ” video . Click the image below and I ’ ll give a bit
of the background and then explain - step by step - how I went about the project .
Have you seen the full-length “ The Blessing | Aotearoa / New Zealand ” virtual choir song video ? Click the image at the bottom of the page to watch the final product .
What better way to be creative and innovative in response to times such as these ? My hope is that you too are planning your own virtual choir song video project and that this video / article has been helpful . Large or small , it can be a challenge but also very rewarding .
