-I like the competition. It is exciting and fun. Sometimes I get a trophy, sometimes not. It doesn’t matter. It’s the show and the element of competition that’s fun.
– Who will win today, asked Wordlkustom the experienced Krantz Challenge competitor?
– My tip is one of the hot rods, he said.
For this year the organizers had sharpened the meeting by letting in all the enthusiast cars in the party area. Not just only those that could compete then. And the cars came. From ten in the morning to two in the afternoon they
rolled in. Mårten Bergman came from Umeå with his Dodge Charger 1966. Looked newly painted but the car’s renovation was nine years old. The coupe had space and sweep like few.
Custom cars, hot rods, original cars, builds and rat rods. Just walking around the party area’s stunning environment and look at the vehicles did the Saturday. Matilda Strand , Lucas Lundström little Elof Lundgren and mother Jenny Lundgren had a good time. Jenny came in her own Chevy Custom 1954. Father Peter’s Rod stood beside. Cool.
