Jeanna first got involved with World T.E.A.M. Sports as an intern for the Sea to Shining

He joined the Board of Directors in 2010 and served as one of the team leaders for that
year’s Sea to Shining Sea, a cross-country bicycle and hand cycle ride with injured veterans. The story of one military member in particular again made a big impact on Paul's
ride. In California, he met Kristi Hall, whose brother Bryan had been killed in Iraq the
previous year. Kristi had several American flags with a small picture of Bryan attached.
“I took one and promised Kristi that to honor his service and sacrifice, I would ride Bryan

and the flag all the way to Virginia Beach.” Paul completed the ride with Bryan on his
handlebars and promptly sent the flag back to Kristi for her to keep.

Paul continues to participate in as many World T.E.A.M. Sports events in as many capacities as possible. He coined the phrase “Changing Lives through Sports” because he saw
firsthand that it was true. And, in addition to his bike gear, Paul carries with him those
