WARMASTER BLACKHORN
We’re at the end of my experience
with the heroic fights of this tier;
my guild went into hibernation just
after we killed Ultraxion and we
had a very slow start in Pandaria
because of it. But here we are!
The Blackhorn encounter begins
with you killing dragons and their
riders; you need to kill a certain
amount of dragons and their riders
for the second phase to begin. The
dragons will from towards you from
the back of the ship. Just as the fly
overhead cast Starfall and apply
whatever DoT is available on both of
them, they’ll die quickly and leave
you to clean up their riders. While
you’re killing the riders, be sure to
stack in the larger purple circles,
it tends to clutter the ground and
there’s no point risking the ship
when it should be smooth sailing.
After a certain number of drakes
(displayed at the top of the screen,
I believe) are killed, Blackhorn and
his mount, Goriona, will swoop in for
the kill. Goriona needs to be driven
away first, so pop your CDs, DoT the
both of them, and burn her down. If
you decide to focus Blackhorn he’ll
