The best strategy for this boss as
a Balance Druid, is to leave his trash
up when you pull the boss. All of the
little slimes throwing themselves
against you would give you a nearly
permanent Owlkin Frenzy buff,
meaning you can chain instant-cast
after instant-cast Starfires. For other
classes without such a mechanic I’d
just recommend skipping the boss.
Right off the pull cast your
cooldowns (Barkskin now included
in this phrase) and use Starfall once,
and only once. You’ll want all the
charges you can get. From there
go through your normal rotation,
being sure to get as many Starsurge
buffed spells out as you can before
the boss falls over, a much toastier
version in death than in life.
If your DPS is a little low and
he begins to summon his multicolored slimes, just continue
to burn him down, they aren’t a
threat unless you’re already close
to death, which Nature’s Vigil
should keep from happening.
