EUROBAK pages Travel, Hospitality & MICE Committee executive team This year launched a new committee for business and leisure tourism, and the hospitality industry. The key points on the committee’s agenda in 2017 are: visa issues, migration policy, Kazakhstan’s promotion strategy abroad, development of tourism statistics of RK, cooperation with other tourist associations, law enforcement and MICE improvement, and mainly cooperation with the government on all listed issues. Ibrahim Canliel Chairperson / EUROBAK Travel, Hospitality & MICE Committee EUROBAK Board Member / Senior Vice President, Air Astana Ibrahim Canliel works for Air Astana as Senior Vice President Commercial Group and has been with the company since its early stages in 2003. He started his career initially in tourism in Turkey during the 90s until he joined aviation with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 1998; briefly in the Gulf and consequently in Kazakhstan as the commercial manager for Central Asia. He has been in Kazakhstan for the past 18,5 years managing business units successfully during both upturns and downturns. Ibrahim was a Eurobak board member during the earlier days from 2005 to 2007. He studied Economics at the Marmara University and did his MBA at the Bosphorus University, both in Istanbul. He speaks 5 languages. Ibrahim is married and has two twin daughters. Oksana Serebrennikova Deputy Chairperson / EUROBAK Travel, Hospitality & MICE Committee General Director / BCD travel - International Travel plus Oksana has 21 years of experience in the tourism industry, including business travel management, leisure and MICE. In 2006 International Travel Plus launched, now it is one of the biggest travel company in countrywide which represents the world's largest global Travel Management Company - BCD Travel in Kazakhstan. At the moment the company also actively promotes Kazakhstan as a destination for business events - congresses, forums and incentive trips. Gulden Ospanova Deputy Chairperson / EUROBAK Travel, Hospitality & MICE Committee General Director / Global Air – American Express Kazakhstan Gulden has more than 25 years of professional experience in Travel, Tourism & MICE Industry. Early in her career she was in charge for sales & marketing for Austrian Airlines and then for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In 2000 she started Global Air that over time became one of the most prominent players in the travel industry market. Nowadays, along with general overall of this multifaceted company, Gulden is also involved in different tourism projects organized by the Department of Tourism of the city of Almaty, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Mayor office of Almaty. She graduated from the Law School of the National University after Al-Farabi and also has an MBA Degree in Management from KIMEP. Igor Borodikhin Deputy Chairperson / EUROBAK Travel, Hospitality & MICE Committee General Director / SKYMAX INTEGRATIONS Igor Borodikhin is the General Director of SKYMAX INTEGRATIONS. More than 20 years in the hotel industry. He has more than 11 years of experience in a hotel, went from an ordinary technical employee to an executive manager. From 2006 to the present day is connected with the brand "SKYMAX". He developed the hotel direction in system integration and security systems, the company is a partner of more than 130 hotels and hospitality places hold leading positions in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. supported by EUROBAK 139
