In her own words about her technique: “My drawings are done in washes of India ink on transparent tracing paper, using a technique of my own invention, in which I work on the floor and put to use the unexpected effects of that technique (blotches, undulations on paper, etc.) as integral elements of the pieces. In recent years, I started working with acrylic paint on loose canvas.
