KAZAKHSTAN ENERGY WEEK 2019
WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE CAPITAL
OF KAZAKHSTAN, SEPTEMBER 23-27
This year KAZENERGY Association will present a unique
project for Kazakhstan energy industry – KAZAKHSTAN
ENERGY WEEK 2019 (KEW-2019).
KEW-2019 will have one platform to unite important
industry events for discussing strategic initiatives on
further effective and stable development of Kazakhstan
energy area and issues of attracting investments to it.
The undertakings within the projects will include key
events and some topic-related clusters. This will allow
to significantly extend boundaries of the discussion and
engage as much Kazakhstani and foreign industry experts
and specialists as possible in the discussion.
The main event of the Energy Week is the XII KAZENERGY
Eurasian Forum. Being held by the Association since
2006, this is the main international event of energy area
in Caspian and Central Asia regions. Over 2.5 thousand
delegates from 300 companies representing over 50
countries of the world participate in the Forum annually.
For many years have powerful political players and
recognized world-renowned experts being invited to be the
Forum guests. This shows the highest reputation of the
event.
The Forum is supported by the Republic of Kazakhstan
Government including:
• The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development
of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Kazakhstan;
• The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• The Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of
Kazakhstan;

• Local administrations of cities and regions of the
Republic of Kazakhstan
The event partners will include such large international
organizations as: International Energy Agency (IEA),
International Energy Charter, Roscongress Foundation, UNECE,
International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), World Energy
Council (WEC), World Petroleum Council (WPC), etc.
BUSINESS AGENDA OF THE FORUM will include:
• Plenary sessions (where key speakers are reputable
heads, and representatives of countries’ governments,
area-related ministries, international organizations for
energy and sustainable development, the biggest oil and
gas companies of the world who are invited to discuss
global issues of world energy);
• Panel program sessions to discuss topical issues of the
Kazakhstan energy;
• Interactive discussions aimed to analyze key factors
which influence global and regional oil markets and to
discuss possible global and Kazakhstani scenarios of the
industry development.
• Presentation of National Energy Report which will
emphasize on making independent and comprehensive
analysis in the following areas: oil and gas industry,
electric-power industry and renewable energy sources
(RES), reduction of greenhouse gases emissions, and
power supply.
• XI KAZENERGY Youth Forum
• IV Women Energy Club Forum
• “DIGITAL Energy” Interactive Expo
The event will result in partner initiatives included into
Final Resolution.
