DESTINATION kazakhstan 1. The key project is 'Smart street lighting'. The purpose of this project is to increase the energy efficiency of street lighting by using modern LED lamps with a dimming (power control) function. This project will cover all light points of the street lighting in Astana. This project implementation will allow the reduction of electricity consumption for street lighting up to 50 percent, reducing the street lighting cost up to 30 percent, extending the life of LED lamps, as well as making possible the remote control of each lighting unit. We plan to cover all administrative buildings in Astana with this project, which will reduce the cost of water consumption up to 40 percent, electricity by 20 percent, and heat supply by 10 percent.
