Pure Strength is a system of plate-loaded machines , racks , lifting platforms , benches and free weights that set a range of motion for an exercising person . The variety of training equipment provided is designed to work out every muscle group . For example , some of these machines mainly work out the transverse abdominal muscles , while others focus on strengthening the stabilizer muscles . The foundation of this program lies in the efforts a person makes progressively within a safe fixed trajectory , while strengthening symmetrical muscles proportionally relative to the axis of your body . Pure Strength equipment primarily provides an ideal workout in a safe environment , focusing on maintaining a correct body alignment and position to the axis of the machine ’ s load in order to provide an optimal and efficient workout .
