With all the connectivity we have it is very difficult to try to detach from the laptop . When I personally go for vacation , I refuse to take my laptop and encourage everyone I work with to do the same . When on vacation I have my cell phone to respond to emails in the morning , but then spend the rest of the day vacationing with my family . It is people ’ s choice to do what they want since they are addicted to their phones sometimes , but I live my life by example .
oleg : Balance is determined by everyone individually . There is a clear division for me between what I do at work and in personal life . Most often the focus is shifted towards work as it is difficult to turn off work-related thoughts completely . As for employees , there are ‘ all hands on deck ’ times when they need to stay at work late . However , we try to make sure people give priority to their families and don ’ t burn out at work . So , we are giving priority to the automatization of working processes , reports , etc . Our philosophy is that people should focus on being productive and effective during the working hours .
Erlan : Keeping balance is necessary , although it is probably the most challenging part of any CEO ’ s life . In my case , it is not only the long hours at the office , but also the extensive travel . It does wear on you , not to mention the time that it takes out of your personal life . Having said that , there should always be a way to manage that and setting the right example to the rest of the team is a critical attribute of any leader .
Andrey : It is not assumed that balance in this context is when you spend eight hours for work and eight hours for personal life . Every person

has a different proportion . This is far more important when we are happy to go to work from home and get back home from work . If the balance is disrupted it will effect either of these aspects sooner or later . If a person always stays late at work I question his / her efficiency , however I do not consider the unusually busy seasons , new projects and so on . To stay effective long enough , everyone requires time to recover .
How would you like to be remembered at your companies ?
oleg : This is hard to judge about myself . As any supervisor , I wish to leave a good footprint at the company . I have worked as the head of the company for more than three years , and I have a sense of inner satisfaction that the objectives and targets that we set for the mid-term are achieved and we continue to aspire to horizons ahead .
маrк : I would like for the company to be in better condition the day I leave than it was the day I started , in terms of talent , financial performance , and market pull . I would like to be remembered well by these three things and the way that they are performing better .
Erlan : I would like to be remembered as someone who cared about the business and people , as well as someone who drove change and kept pace with the changing environment .
Andrey : As a person who sees the goal , believes in himself , overlooks obstacles , and achieves this goal with the help of a productive team .
