Acupuncture and Chinese herbal
medicine have been used for more
than 2500 years in China. It has been
the fi rst choice of countless millions
of Chinese people. Chinese medicine
is not seen as an alternative form
of therapy in China, but is used in
the state hospital alongside modern
medicine.
Chinese Medical Doctor Hong, come
from Shanghai University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in China, had set
up Acupuncture Clinic at Framfi eld
Medical Centre and hopes to share his
expertise with local people.
Dr. Hong had trained by Chinese
medicine and western medicine at
medical university in China full time
for 6 years and got a Medical Master
degree.
He specialize in acupuncture and
Chinese herbal medicine and has
worked for it for more than 30 years
including 15 years work experience
as doctor, teacher and researcher in
university teaching hospital in china,
1 year in Singapore government
hospital—Alexandra Hospital and 14
years in UK. By acupuncture, it can
help to reduce infl ammation, relieve
pain, improve immune function,
improve blood circulation and regulate
endocrine system.
In acupuncture clinic, a lot of
problems can be treated. They include
many kinds of pain problems such
as headache, migraine, trigeminal
neuralgia, neck, back and hip pain,
frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, plantar
fasciitis, arthritis, restless legs, sciatic
pain, etc. and many kinds of internal
problems such as chronic bronchitis,
asthma, sinusitis, hay fever, chronic
diarrhea, stomach acid, I.B.S, thyroid
