w elcome to the latest edition of the
Wood-Ridge Newsletter. In this edition, we
celebrate events both traditional and new in
the Borough of Wood-Ridge. Each of these
events and successes would not be possible
without the hard work and dedication of the
Borough Council: Council President Ezio
Altamura, and Council Members Catherine
Cassidy, Dominick Azzolini, Ed Marino,
Joseph DiMarco and Philip Romero.
From the inaugural Wood-Ridge Town
Day to a season of creative activities
happening in the Wood-Ridge Summer
Recreation program, this summer was
memorable for residents of all ages having
the opportunity to be connected and to be a
part of something going on in Wood-Ridge.
On a related note, we are looking forward
to the Borough’s expanding slate of public
events including the first-ever Food Truck
Festival at Wesmont Station this October,
which will bring roving restaurants from
across the region right to our doorstep, and
feature a live musical performance by the B
Street Band. We also look forward to a slate
of fascinating programs planned by the
Wood-Ridge Historical Society through the
holiday season.
Now more than ever, Wood-Ridge is a
great place to live, work and thrive.
