机器一项大胆的创新尝试。随着商

个年头，我们意识到，如果我们要

业，我们不仅需要跟上产业和经济
变化，更重要的是，我们需要积极

The Wong Fong Research and
Innovation Centre or WFRIC WORLD
as it is more commonly known, is a
maverick initiative by Wong Fong
Engineering. As the business landscape
changes, new technologies and ideas
are introduced; and Wong Fong
Engineering moves into its 50th year
of business, we realize that if we want
to sustain a successful business for
the next 50 years, we not only need to
keep up with industry and economic
changes, but more importantly, we need
to stay ahead of the game by playing
our part in setting these changes. The
only way to do this is to ask ourselves
the hard questions and to make sure
that we are ready for the solutions.
WFRIC is about building
an innovation ecosystem within
companies and over the past year, we
have managed to gather a team of
world class thought leaders, designers
and engineers that approach problems
in an extremely unique and innovative
way. This group of original thinkers
has come together with a common
vision, which is to create big triumphs.
The combination of talents from
engineering, manufacturing, design,
branding, marketing and consumer
behavior forms “The Reactor” where
ideas are born, developed and produced.
In the one year that WFRIC has
been in operation, we have filed for our
first patent and our team has assisted
clients re-engineer their business
processes to create efficiency and cost
savings, designed new revolutionary
products that have been news and
media worthy, like the Herk Doorlift
and the FRP tailgate that was noted
by the Chinese government and media.
Our team also researches avenues and
finds solutions to the tough questions
that are asked by all levels of the
business.
