Bottle Caps
HDPE (High-density polyethylene), LDPE (Low-density polyethylene), PP
(Polypropylene) are the most commonly used plastic materials that are used to
create plastic bottle caps. The production process of the plastic bottle cap
generally divided into two types:
1.Compression Moulding 2. Injection molding production process
How is the plastic cap produced under pressure once the suction is done the
mixed stuff is moved to compression molding in a semi-molten state and then
transferred to into mold cavity, the compression molding then is a similar as
another cooling process where stripping and padding is done over it
Injection molding production process cover: Suction machine, the mixed
material is sucked into the injection molding machine barrel in the barrel is heated
to a molten plasticized state injected into the mold cavity, the cavity cooling
stereotypes, stripping, and then cut through the loop, padded complete injection
molding cover production.
The main difference between the two:
1. Large bulk injection mold, single cavity replacement trouble; compression
molding each cavity is relatively independent, can be replaced individually.
2.Compression molding cover is not poured point, which has a more
attractive appearance and better printing effect;
3. Injection molding cover material needs to be heated to a molten stage,
the temperature of 210 degrees; compression molding cover only needs to
be heated to 160 degrees, cover the injection energy than high-pressure
plastic cover;
4.Compression molding lower processing temperatures, a small amount of
shrinkage, the size of the system covers more precise;
When we tense up the bottle cap, the end of the bottle pushes against the inside
of the cap, which means the threads on the bottle and the cap start pushing
against each other this creates friction. This friction avoids the cap from opening
itself. Inside the cap is a minor plastic/rubber disk. We all know that rubber is a
compressible and watertight material, and the end of the bottle is pushing against
this disk. From our manufacturing process; this is the way how pet preform
molds convert into Pet Plastic Caps moulds.
