NCAA POSTSEASON INFO
The Division II Women’s Soccer
Championship is a 48-team, singleelimination tournament. The teams come
from eight different regions throughout the
country. The GNAC is part of the West
Region.
Western Washington was the No. 1 seed in
the West Region and Seattle Pacific was the
fifth seed.
The first two rounds were played at
Harrington Field in Bellingham, Wash.,
hosted by top seeded Western
Washington.
Fourth seed Cal State Stanislaus beat SPU
in the West Region quarterfinals 2-1 in
double overtime. The Warriors also beat
WWU 1-0 in the West Region semifinals.
The national championship, held on Dec. 6
in Louisville, Kent., was won by Grand
Valley State. The Lakers beat Rollins College
3-0.
