American artist Kari Gehrke Digital Typography Design has always been a love of mine and I have fueled my passion for it through typography and Letterpress. There’s just something about the ability to combine new technology with the old that is so inviting. I have chosen biblical typography pieces because the interpretations of the final piece vary to everyone who views it and I invite that ambiguity so it prompts curious conversation. Whether viewing up close or from a distance, typographic pieces encourage the viewer to take a pause in their every day busy lives, which in the age of technology, is no easy feat. wom en ART page 23
