My love of mid-century modern things began as a child. In the 60s I would spend hours
happily browsing through our family’s Sears Robuck and Montgomery Ward catalogs, looking
at photos of modern furniture and accessories. The designs of that era were innovative,
colorful and fun. They made me happy! Today I incorporate mid-century modern designs into
my artwork. They still make me happy!
