While most little girls of her age grew up “learning their place”, women’s empowerment
advocate, Evelyne Nyairo, the driving force behind the luxurious, all-natural skincare line,
Ellie Bianca, learned that, with self-belief, the sky was the limit when it came to her aspirations.
If she wanted to become the CEO of a multimillion-dollar business, she had only to do the
necessary work. She now runs five.
“My father is an academic; my mother, a high-powered business woman. They both instilled
in me a very strong work ethic. Nothing comes to you that you haven’t earned. Dad made it
clear that nobody is a ‘genius’. Some people may learn faster than others, but everyone has
to read the material. The right mindset is the key to accomplishing your goals.”
After graduating high school in her native country, Kenya, Evelyne accompanied her parents
to Canada for a visit, but chose to remain there instead to continue her education, ultimately
receiving her Master’s in Environment and Management. She excelled in the business world,
continually gaining the career experience and expertise that now gives her the conviction and
self-assurance to collaborate internationally with professionals in every field, at all levels of
government and private business.
