CapriceWest is known as the store that’s fun to shop. With
more than 4200 sq. ft. we carry everything from Lululemon to
Louis Vuitton! If you have Gucci taste but are on a Gap budget
you need to come see us!
CapriceWest is more than just a consignment store – it’s a culture, a community.
It’s a place where women feel comfortable and where they come when they’re
having a bad day. They know they’ll always get a dose of retail therapy with
every visit. One customer said we were just like the TV show “Cheers” where
everybody knows your name. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with
both our customers and consignors.
The store has been open since 1988 – I’ve owned it for the past 16 years.
Having over 12,000 consignors from all over Alberta, CapriceWest is stocked
with treasures galore that an average store couldn’t possibly carry. The breadth
of labels we carry is phenomenal. Think about it – if you go to J. Michaels
you can’t buy BCBG; if you go to BCBG you can’t buy Prada; if you go to
Lululemon you can’t buy Chanel. At CapriceWest you can buy those brands
and hundreds more all under one roof. We say “We’ll have you dressed from
head to toe and ready to go in no time!”
Our consignors shop the world so you don’t have to. We have brands from
Germany, Italy, France, and more. Our stock changes faster than an average
retail store. We put out approximately 200 new items every day, or 1000 items
a week – so we say, “Miss a week, miss a lot!” Follow us on Facebook and

Many of our customers like to shop with us because they know we’ll pre-
shop for them. All they have to do is call ahead to set up a complimentary
appointment and we’ll have clothing ready for them to try on when they
arrive. We strive to find clothing that fits our customer’s body type and their
personality. We want our customers to feel good and comfortable in anything
they purchase from us.
