November means Thanksgiving is coming! Time to think about all the things in
our lives we are grateful for… and time to put a little creativity to work in setting the
stage (and table!) for a wonderful family gathering, for kids and grownups alike!
PILGRIM HATS
PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
This dessert will amaze family members
and friends, but is so simple to create!
Peanut butter cups, chocolate wafer cook-
ies, and orange icing are all you need to
create this tower of sweetness. If you
place them at each guest’s plate when you
set the table you can also use them as an
enticing decoration! Details at:

COCOA KRISPIES
TURKEY DRUMSTICKS
Pretzel rods are dipped in melted
almond bark, with two mini marsh-
mallows added at the end of the rod
to form the drumstick. Made just
like Rice Krispie Treats, the Cocoa
Krispies are formed into football
shapes to look like drumsticks. Kids
are sure to love these! Follow the
complete tutorial at: http://mommysavers.com/cocoa-krispies-turkey-drumsticks/
RICE KRISPIE TREAT
PUMPKINS
Speaking of Rice Krispie Treats, here’s
how you can turn them into adorable
pumpkins. They can grace your table on a
platter as a centerpiece, and, later, fill your
guests’ tummies! Mini Rolo candies are
used for the stem and a green M & M is
the leaf. When you check out the instruc-
tions, be sure to read the tip given for
keeping your hands from sticking to the
treats as you form the pumpkins! https://

FALL CANDLE CENTERPIECE
This is an easy, inexpensive way to be cre-
ative, dress up your holiday table and get
rave reviews from your guests. Cheryl, a
busy mom of 3 boys, created this from sev-
eral candles of different sizes, a bag of fake
leaves from Dollar Tree, some burlap rib-
bon, a charger or plate from the thrift store,
and some twine. Check out her step-by-
step photos at https://www.thatswhatche-
said.net/fall-candle-centerpiece/.
