Girls Who Code Squeaky Wheel is now
offering the nationally recognized Girls Who
Code (GWC) - a FREE after-school coding
program for 6th through 12th graders. This
is the first public offering of this amazing
and immersive workshop in Buffalo. The
series runs Wednesday afternoons, from
March 6 through May 8, 2019; 4pm-6pm.
Not only can learning to code give young
women a competitive advantage, but coding
also helps improve their creativity and
problem-solving skills. Students will learn
multiple coding languages and engage with
women working professionally in computer

10am and noon. Extra materials will be
placed in the play area and a naturalist will
be present to answer questions and provide
information. Wear clothes and footwear

bring an extra change of clothes or a towel
for the car ride home. $6 for children ages
