KidSpark is designed for kids eight and under and their care-
givers. Kids can build a roller coaster, rock in a music studio and
blow giant bubbles. Explore the potential and limits of the human
body. See what it takes to summit Everest in the Human Edge
exhibit. Discover how your body deals with danger and find out
what is humanly possible.
In the late spring to fall, families can explore a Don River
Valley ravine in the outdoor Nature Escape. The Science Arcade
is a long-time visitor favorite. This is the place to test your reac-
tion time, navigate a distorted room, and much more. The Weston
Family Innovation Centre inspires everyone to take experimenta-
tion to a new level. There are live daily demonstrations designed
to bring science to life through fun, hands-on learning.
The Living Earth invites visitors to stroll through a rain
forest and try to spot poison dart frogs; tough it out through a
tornado; crawl through a cave, and check out a coral reef. The
Planetarium offers daily shows including one just for kids under
5 and their caregivers.
While Toronto has a wide array of hotels, it is hard to top
the Chelsea Hotel for its many programs and attractions designed
for kids and families. In addition to family packages and dis-
counts on attractions, a big highlight of the hotel is the second
floor Family Fun Zone.
