he Curiosity Shoppe has been an aptly-named, diverse retail destination that
never ceases to live up to its colorful moniker. Under owners Alec & Jodi
Shea, the store is a creative, eclectic and entirely fun place to spend far longer
than you ever intend. You just can’t help yourself!
A Laramie staple for decades, The Curiosity Shoppe has been the place to find that
perfect gift or item for your home. When my husband and I shared our first home
together in 1998, we started with two ornaments on our first (Charlie Brown)
Christmas tree. Every year we’d select one together, and often they would come
from The Curiosity Shoppe, which has been (and remains) a Hallmark Gold Crown
location for years. We saw owners change over the years, from the late Alice Stickley,
to Sandy Novick for many years, to Alec and Jodi Shea, who purchased the store
about three and a half years ago.
