June Johnston of Star Valley ’ s first writing accomplishment was an Easter play for her eighth grade class which the students performed in the classroom . After graduation in 1958 she married Bob , her high school sweetheart . They moved to Wyoming in 1974 . Through the years June was a bank teller , decorator , and owner of an art gallery and frame shop . She retired in 2006 and went back to her early love of writing . June has a column in her local newspaper called “ Life in the Loony Lane .” She and Bob are great grandparents to six and live in Star Valley with their toy
Pomeranians , Cricket and Bandit .
Garrett Fisher of Germany via Alpine via Many Other Amazing Places , took his first flight when he was two . At age eight , his grandfather started giving him lessons , and he had his private pilot certificate at age 17 in a Piper PA- 11 Cub Special . Today , Garrett takes this same PA-11 on his adventures , photographing along the way and writing books about his experiences . “ There is no shortage of adventure flying over wilderness areas , close to the ground , without a radio , and literally flying by the seat of my pants ( with the door open ),” Garrett says . James Fuller of Cheyenne is a Retired Air Force Veteran currently working for the United Way of Laramie County as their Major Gifts Officer . He serves as the Chairman of the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board , and board member of the WY Historic Governors ’ Mansion Foundation and Historic Cheyenne , Inc . James has a Historical Research & Consulting business called Discovering History and Heritage , LLC ( discoveringhistory . net ). He was recently project researcher for Storm of the Century : Blizzard of ‘ 49 , with Wyoming PBS . James and his wife Marilyn have two wonderful adult children , Zackary & Alyssa .
