After graduation in 1958 she married Bob, her high school sweetheart. They moved to Wyoming in 1974. Through the years June was a bank teller, decorator, and owner of an art gallery and frame shop. She retired in 2006 and went back to her early love of writing. June has a column in her local newspaper called “Life in the Loony Lane.” She and Bob are great grandparents to six and live in Star Valley with their toy Pomeranians, Cricket and Bandit. At age eight, his grandfather started giving him lessons, and he had his private pilot certificate at age 17 in a Piper PA11 Cub Special. Today, Garrett takes this same PA-11 on his adventures, photographing along the way and writing books about his experiences. “There is no shortage of adventure flying over wilderness areas, close to the ground, without a radio, and literally flying by the seat of my pants (with the door open),” Garrett says. He serves as the Chairman of the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board, and board member of the WY Historic Governors’ Mansion Foundation and Historic Cheyenne, Inc. James has a Historical Research & Consulting business called Discovering History and Heritage, LLC (discoveringhistory.net). He was recently project researcher for Storm of the Century: Blizzard of ‘49, with Wyoming PBS. James and his wife Marilyn have two wonderful adult children, Zackary & Alyssa. Ken Stoecklin of Casper specializes in wedding, portrait, commercial and fine art photography. He utilizes the latest digital equipment to give his clients’ images that creative look. Lacee Sims of Evanston is a city girl who married Shaun, a rancher. They were dubbed Leather-N-Lace by their families from the beginning.
