38 Wyoming Lifestyle Magazine | Spring & Early Summer 2017 froze – which community would I choose ? I basically flipped a series of mental coins , and settled upon Cody , only one of Wyoming ’ s many areas that fascinate me .
I chose to skip past the fascinating , beautiful and wellknown topics from the area , interesting and featureworthy as they are in themselves – namely the iconic Buffalo Bill Cody and Yellowstone – and focus on the people of the community of Cody . I wanted to see period attire , faces and personalities and how the town has grown . There were certainly some gems that I came upon that fit this classification , that elicited a series of whispers from my corner , and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did . There is no rhyme or reason to these photos – they were chosen simply because they are incredible time capsules .
I hope that you enjoy this ‘ green folder moment ’ as much as I did , and hope to feature more towns in the future . If you ’ re ever in Cheyenne , you must visit the capitol ’ s many historical gems , including but not limited to the Historic Governor ’ s Mansion , State Museum , Cheyenne Depot Museum and the Cowgirls of the West Museum . When you enter the door to the State Museum , the Archives department will be on your
