Exploring the store , I enjoy finding gems in unassuming places : antique shelving holds Wyoming jewelry with the iconic Steamboat ; cut bottles became heavy duty glasses featuring buffalo and Steamboat ; an oversized metal pitcher is blooming with silk flowers alongside a tower of pumpkins that would look great outside my front door . It ’ s inviting , comforting and screams , “ Take me home and dress up that lonely corner !”
The Bent & Rusty is one of Laramie ’ s fastest growing businesses , fueled by creativity . The Craftsman ’ s Co-op ’ s motto is “ Grown on people ’ s passion .” Six co-op members contribute their time , energy and talents to the store , both in the form of their own handcrafted creations and their skills with bookkeeping , marketing , retail work , etc . The co-op members serve as a board to review and approve the addition of consigners to the store – individuals from throughout the region and beyond , whose products are for sale within The Bent & Rusty .
