at once while maintaining a shoppable atmosphere is
one of its remarkable accomplishments. Founder and
Co-Op Designer Billie Eckhardt and I discussed the
growth of the company as I complimented her use of
space. Originally founded as a corner of Bart’s Flea
Market in Laramie in 2013, Billie (a woodworker by
trade) and other original co-op design members moved
to their first Downtown Laramie store front space
in 2014. I used to visit the store often when I needed
a few moments to breathe and gather my thoughts
(browsing is great for my blend of busy mom and
business owner), and I was always amazed with the
inviting displays and flow of the store. “People used to
make laps so they could see it all!” Billie laughed as we
discussed the small but welcoming space they used to
occupy on Grand Avenue.
