WSD vs Racine Falcons 34-20
The mighty Firebirds jumped out to a nice lead and
held on to win against the Racine Falcons. Junior
Alex Kubiske was on fire with 12 points. The team
was exhausted from playing 2 games earlier in the day
but they pushed on to victory with the help of seniors
Kadedra Jackson, 8 points, and Brandaun Carter, 6
points.
WSD vs Kenosha Blue 21-24
In the Regional Tournament, the Firebirds opened
with a loss to Kenosha Blue. WSD was leading into
the fourth quarter 21 to 12 but ice-cold shooting
allowed Kenosha Blue to come back and send the
Firebirds to a loss. Senior Brandaun Carter led the
valiant effort by the team with 10 points.
