Discovering History
Recently, G-3 middle school students had the opportunity to
play the game Old Maid and learn about history at the same
time. Child Care Counselor Dean Kemp recalled that he had a
deck of cards at his residence from a long time ago and thought
it would be nice to bring them to show the students. After
finding them in storage, Dean assumed they were from the
1930’s, but was not sure, as they were inherited from his parents.
