Mock Wedding WSD teacher, Mrs. Karen Turcsany-Lopez teaches two classes called, “Marriage and Family”. Each lasts one semester. One of the main projects for this class is to plan a wedding. Several additional students were recruited to participate; senior, Mitchell Perry, agreed to be the father of the bride, three times! ASL teacher, Mr. David Copeland of ciated the ceremony. Elementary students, Ellie Lister and Cayden Rawlings were the ower girl and ring bearer. ASL teacher, Mr. Joel Mankowski was the Master of Ceremonies. Three beautiful ‘mock’ brides took turns walking down the aisle to meet their ‘mock’ groom. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen were recruited to participate. One bride even had an assistant. Bride ́5
