Madison Children’s Museum On Wednesday, January 25, the lower elementary students headed to Madison to visit the Madison Children’s Museum. The building was three stories of thrills! There was a climbing apparatus, a driving machine that controlled a robot arm, a stage with a curtain and costumes, and a wooden bridge from which students could see everything. One of the highlights was a window wall where students could use paintbrushes to paint on the window. While painting, students could see outside across the street. When they were done with their painting they grabbed a squeegee and erased their work. The museum was across the street from the State Capitol. During our lunch break we walked past the Capitol on the way to Subway. A special thanks to Tyler’s mom, Lisa Burckhardt, for joining us at the museum! Emma Vollmar doing wash the old fashioned way.
