Alicia Arispe 2nd Grade Keisha Payne 5th Grade Erica Her 5th Grade Dillion Hall 4th Grade Zachary Needs 2nd Grade Jazmin Victorino 5th Grade Montaro Walker 5th Grade The Middle School only had one new face this fall, Jerome Payne. He is a 7th grader from Milwaukee. He attended the Milwaukee Sign Language School. He and his sister both came to WSD this fall. Jerome says he likes the full open communication with everyone on WSD campus. He enjoys all of his classes and especially likes class with Mr. Brian Lievens and Mrs. Karen Copeland. Jerome says he is anxious to be able to participate in sports, especially football. Dequan Carter is a returning student. He is a junior. He was a freshman at WSD, then his family moved to Illinois and he went to school in Chicago. His family moved back to Milwaukee, and Dequan is back to WSD. Dequan is glad to see his old friends again and enjoys playing defense on the WSD football team. His favorite class is math and he enjoys his teachers Mrs. Cheryl Trunk and Mrs. Joan Armfield. Welcome Back Dequan. Lexi Christ is a new junior. Her hometown is Lake Mills. Lexi attended WSD summer school for Drivers Education and was able to convince her mother to send her to WSD this fall. She plays on the WSD volleyball team and hopes to be a cheerleader for basketball season and on the track and field team this spring throwing the shotput. She is also considering participating in the Sign Song Dancers. Her favorite classes are Civics and History. She wishes WSD offered more sports as well as off campus lunch. She plans to take a class at DDHS in the spring so as to be able to participate in their FFA program. Lexi shows cows and won ribbons at the Jefferson County Fair. Her Jersey won First Champion.
