THE ROYAL VISIT
Prince William headed to Wirral on a royal
visit.
He visited Guinea Gap leisure centre in
Wallasey and was greeted by large crowds. He
also took part in an event hosted by British
Sub-Aqua Club, Swim England and the English
Schools’ Swimming Association - The Duke is
patron of all three.
The Mayor Cllr Anne McLaughlin said
preparations went well for the special visit.
During his time in Merseyside, the Duke of
Cambridge also opened the new Urgent Care
and Trauma Centre at Aintree Hospital and
visited the Life Rooms which provides a safe and
social place for recovery, health and wellbeing.
