REVIEW OF SDS REJUVENATE'S
4D LASER FACELIFT

I had heard about the 4D Laser Facelift but didn't really know what it
was all about. I discovered SDS Rejuvenate MediSpa offered this so I
called up and I was given the opportunity to have a free consultation
with Dr Sally Ann Dolan who explained the procedure and how the
treatment works. I was very apprehensive about lasers other than using
them for hair removal but I was soon put at ease and any questions I
had were answered fully and I was very soon booking an appointment to
have treatment in the West Kirby clinic.
STAGE 3: PIANO MODE
This stage felt very similar in that it felt warm as she shone the light on my
face and neck in a brushing technique and again the temperature of my
skin was regularly checked. This is a treatment that feels very similar to
skin tightening by radio frequency. This is actually the skin tightening part
of the treatment.
Dr Sally informed me that this laser procedure smooths, plumps and
tightens facial features. It can be used instead of, or in addition to dermal
fillers to plump up the nasolabial folds, marionette lines and reduce any
peri-oral lines (smokers lines) and smooth the skin for a fresher look. On
the day of my appointment I was greeted in reception by Marie - I was in
total awe of the luxuriousness of the clinic! After I was given consultation
forms to complete, I was taken for a baseline skin scan analysis with my
therapist Harriet. We then moved in to the laser room where my 4D Laser
Facelift was to be performed and I was made very much at ease. Harriet
reiterated what this treatment involved i.e. the 4 stages and how each stage
would feel. We were ready to go!
STAGE 1: SMOOTH
Despite Harriet’s reassurance, I was still a little apprehensive with regards
to having a laser shone inside my mouth but she was absolutely right, I did
not feel anything at all and I was soon totally relaxed and almost excited as
she explained that this treatment targets the oral cavity around the inside of
the mouth and cheeks to plump and give volume to the nasolabial folds and
marionette lines. She also explained it treats any facial laxity by stimulating
collagen from inside the mouth.
STAGE 2: FRAC3 MODE
I was advised that the second stage uses a laser beam that targets
deeper imperfections such as scarring, texture, and tone, wrinkles,
hyperpigmentation, but also tightens the skin. Sounded good to me! This
stage felt warm, the heat built up very slowly as Harriet carried out the
procedure, and she regularly checked with me how warm it felt but also
checked my skin with a special skin thermometer. I couldn’t believe it when
she told me we were reaching temperatures of 40 degrees, it certainly didn’t
feel that hot. I quite liked this!

STAGE 4: SUPERFICIAL MODE
The last stage was a superficial laser peel which helps the appearance of
fine lines, wrinkles, and open pores. Harriet advised me that I would hear a
rapid clicking noise as she moved across my skin starting at the jawline and
finishing at my forehead. Up until now all the stages had been relatively
relaxing but this final procedure felt more intense although I confess there
was no discomfort as promised!
SPF was applied to my face and neck. Before I was given a mirror, I was
advised I was looking a little pink which is as expected but it was explained
that this would subside in the next couple of hours. I was told to expect
slight flaking of my skin in the next two or three days and that this would
only be apparent to myself and not to others looking at me. I was told to
expect that I should see some immediate plumping of the skin but then
over the next few weeks would begin to notice the lifting and improvement
in the tone and texture of my skin.
It was exactly as both Dr Sally Ann Dolan and Harriet had said. I did
experience only very slight flaking and certainly noticed an immediate
plumping of my skin. I was delighted not only with my own findings but
the fact that I have had many of my friends approach me saying how well
I look, how lovely my skin is and all wanting to know what my secret is! I
didn’t keep it a secret, I was only too happy to tell them that the only thing
I had done differently was to have visited SDS Rejuvenate MediSpa, where
I had a Fotona 4D Laser Facelift! I totally enjoyed the entire experience
from the minute of entering the clinic where I was greeted by the incredibly
professional receptionist to the end result when my friends and colleagues
were complimenting my appearance. I would highly recommend Dr Sally
Ann Dolan and her team to anyone who is considering a 4D Laser Facelift.
In essence I would highly recommend a visit to SDS Rejuvenate MediSpa!
