WARDROBE PREPARATION FOR THE PARTY SEASON Can you believe it’s that time of year again? Sparkly dresses and tailored suits, not to mention a few Christmas jumpers, have been plucked from the depths of overflowing drawers and the backs of wardrobes. Party season is upon us! And with so many occasions from work drinks and family affairs to New Year’s Eve celebrations, Sliderobes have a couple of tips to help you keep your wardrobe organised whilst enjoying all of the festivities. SEPARATE THE SEASONS Firstly, your summer clothes should be long gone from your wardrobe by now. The last thing you want to be doing is swishing through rails of summer dresses to find the perfect festive party dress. Or rummaging through shorts and t-shirts in drawers whilst looking for your woolly scarf. Have all of your party outfits and winter warmers out and displayed in a way that’s easy for you to choose from on a daily basis. Why not take the opportunity to declutter your wardrobe and donate any unwanted clothes to charity. DISPLAY YOUR WAY – HANG OR FOLD? Sliderobes’ advice is to keep knitwear folded and flat. Have you tried folding t-shirts and light jumpers using the KonMari method? It is a really smart folding trick that will give you further room to store more on shelves and in drawers. Look it up online! Keep your wardrobe organised by hanging dresses, blouses and men’s suits in an orderly fashion on hanging rails. Remember a fitted wardrobe can be designed to have the right amount of long hanging and short hanging space you need. Matching hangers make your clothes look better together and are less distracting. Have all of your favourite outfits ready for any party night. DON'T FORGET YOUR SHOES As they say, shoes make the outfit so let’s not forget about how important it is to take care of our shoes too! Shoe rails are a great additional storage feature for any wardrobe. Giving your shoes a chosen space to be stored in your wardrobe means it is less likely that you’ll chuck them into a messy pile at the bottom of your wardrobe. The fun part about shoe rails and dedicated space for shoes within a wardrobe, is that you can choose where you put each pair, of course making your favourite pair of pretty heels stand out. THINK ABOUT BETTER STORAGE WITH SLIDEROBES Now that you have a couple of tips from us to help organise your winter wardrobe, perhaps you are thinking about how to make the most of the space in your room?
