RADIO CITY SANTA DASH
The 13th annual Radio City Liverpool
Santa Dash took place on Sunday
4th December, starting at the Pier
Head Liverpool and finishing outside
Liverpool Town Hall.
Over 8,000 Santa’s took part, which
was a sea of red, blue and PURPLE.
The colour purple joined the traditional
red and blue Santa’s as people were
encouraged to use the dash as a spring
board to becoming more active with the
Fit For Me campaign.
The Fit For Me purple Santa was
choreographer, Miguel Doforo, who took
dance troupe MD Productions to three of
the ITV Britain’s got Talent programme’s
semi-finals. Miguel said: “I’m proud to
have put on the purple Santa suit and
taken part in the race to represent ‘Fit For
Me’ which is such an inspiring campaign
– it really was something special. This
time of year is all about having fun, the
atmosphere amongst the sea of red and
blue Santa’s was something else, the
fact they were all taking part in physical
activity was the icing on the cake.”
